First Saturday Art Walk
at the Pauwela Cannery, Haiku
6:00 ~ 9:00 p.m.
The lights stay on in galleries, studios, retail businesses and the Cafe at the Pauwela Cannery for an evening of art, music and food the first Saturday of each month.
At this free, family-friendly event, patrons have an opportunity to meet the artists, view demonstrations, and enjoy browsing in a gallery atmosphere that often includes music and refreshments. All of the participating venues will keep their doors open to the public to provide visitors with this exclusive occasion to come into the artists' studios and get a "behind the scenes" look at what is going on.
Da Factory, a glass blowing studio and gallery, was instrumental in getting the First Saturday Art Walk started. They provide glass blowing demonstrations and more as part of the First Saturday Art Walk event.
